My Fair Lady will sweep you off your feet. When professor Henry Higgins takes on a bet to pass a Cockney flower girl off as a society lady, both Professor Higgins and Eliza Doolittle’s worlds are changed forever. A cynical confirmed bachelor, Higgins finds himself increasingly attached to the woman he thinks he has created, while Eliza finds herself caught between two worlds, neither of which will be attainable once Higgins’ bet is over. With a story inspired by George Bernard Shaw’s Pygmalian and an unforgettable score by Lerner and Loewe including “I Could Have Danced All Night,” “Get Me to the Church on Time,” and “Wouldn’t it Be Loverly,” this musical will keep you humming long after leave the theatre.
