Rhys Carr

is a recent graduate of Ohio University’s BFA Musical Theater program. Born and raised in Athens, Ohio by two Caribbean parents, Rhys is blessed to be doing what they love in the body they have been given. Regional credits include: THE GREAT COMET OF 1812 (Anatole), SPRING AWAKENING (Ernst), EIGHTY-SIXED (Dennis) HOTEL BERRY (Ensemble/Dance Capt.). Other credits include: PIPPIN (The Leading Player), YERMA (The Old Woman), ABSENTIA (Tyler). While at OU, they became a co-founder of the BIPOC led theater company, Vibrancy Theater (www.vibrancytheater.com). Look out for them in their Clear Space Theater debut this summer!
