Company Manager / Interim Creative Director

Candice Jewell officially joined the Clear Space Theatre family as Company Manager in June, 2025 and Interim Creative Director in September, 2025. Candice is from Delaware County, PA (Delco!) and received her B.F.A. in Music Theatre from Shenandoah Conservatory. Although she began her professional career as a performer and was lucky enough to perform at several regional theatres across the country and on a national tour, she found her true calling when she became a member of a creative team for the first time. She recently directed Clear Space’s sold out 2025 summer production of Hairspray. Clear Space audiences have also seen her choreography here since 2016 in shows such as Jesus Christ Superstar, Hello, Dolly!, Legally Blonde, Footloose, and Rock of Ages, where she also made her directorial debut. She has been a dance educator since 2007 and was instrumental in the rebuilding of Sun Valley High School’s (her alma mater) theater program from 2015-2024. For 15 years, Candice was the Assistant Director of the successful Paul Klocke Studio of Dance as well as the Director of their award-winning youth dance company before relocating to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Being a part of the Clear Space team and living in coastal Delaware is a dream come true!
