This contemporary/futuristic retelling of the classic tale of a lonely toymaker, their toy child, and the journey to becoming Real.
When game designer Gepp designs a software that will interact like a real child, robotics expert Dr. Blue builds a prototype, but warns that the toy still needs to learn a lot from Gepp– like right from wrong, truth from fiction, and how to be Real. Gepp tries to teach the toy at home and by sending it to school, and even by adding an update to tell it how to behave. But there are so many other influences around the toy that everything gets mixed up inside. When Gepp and the toy are trapped by another robot in Dr. Blue’s lab, only the toy can save them. Science meets magic (and real life!) when the toy reaches deep into its data to save the day and finally become Real.
