Michael Murnin

MICHAEL J. MURNIN is from Portland, Oregon and studied at the University of Washington. He was the founding Artistic Director for the Seattle Actor’s Workshop, and directed Off Broadway and Off Off Broadway for The Roundabout Theatre, Playwrights Horizons, Broadway Arts Theatre for Young Audiences, The Theatre Company, On Wheels Productions, and the Westside Repertory Theatre, where he served as Artistic Director during four seasons. He was awarded the Jean Dalrymple award for best Off Broadway director for the play SCRAPBOOKS. Locally, he directed WHITE CHRISTMAS at Possum Point Players, and appeared at Clear Space in THE SOUND OF MUSIC and LA CAGE AUX FOLLES.
