Karen Richards

Karen Richards is a dedicated actor who has lived in many roles like, Deloris in “Sister Act,” Lula/Almeta in Violet, Oda Mea in “Ghost,” Leata in “Hair,” Gary Coleman in “Avenue Q,” Emma in “Stupid F*cking Bird,” Pauline in “A Bright New Boise,” Player/Priest in “Hamlet” and Vera Martin in “She Kills Monsters.” Some of her other credits include Effie White in “Dreamgirls,” Medda Larkin in “Newsies” Michelle in Johnny Carson’s Film Series’ “The Healing of Harman, Ursula in  “The Little Mermaid” and Motormouth Maybelle in “Hairspray” at Crane River Theatre Company. She is beyond elated to be back in Kearney working with Crane River Theater Company. She would also like to give a special thank you to her foster mom, Alice Heimann, Mother, Andrea Forbes, and friends for all their support over the years!
