KAREN RICHARDS is a dedicated actor who has lived in many roles like, Deloris in SISTER ACT, Lula/Almeta in VIOLET, Oda Mea in GHOST, Leata in HAIR, Gary Coleman in AVENUE Q, Emma in STUPID F*CKING BIRD, Pauline in A BRIGHT NEW BOISE, and Vera Martin in SHE KILLS MONSTERS. Some of her other credits include DREAMGIRLS Effie White), NEWSIES (Medda Larkin), Johnny Carson’s THE HEALING OF HARMAN (Michelle), THE LITTLE MERMAID (Ursula), and HAIRSPRAY (Motormouth) at Crane River Theatre Company.
