Clear Space Theatre is requesting proposals from parties interested in acquiring and relocating the Joseph House. Acquisition includes the building only and does not include any portion of the lot the building sits on. The building is offered in as is condition. The building is located at 413 Rehoboth Ave., Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971. The Theatre purchased this property and must clear the site as part a project to construct a new theatre building. As part of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), the Delaware State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO), and Clear Space Theatre (Theatre), before the property can be cleared, the Theatre must attempt to market this home. The Theatre desires to see the building relocated from the site, restored and reused.
The deadline for submitting proposals (including required documentation and proposal security) is 4:00 PM, April 27, 2020.
