Education | Acting Classes
Mondays (5 - 7 pm) September 16th – November 18th
Tuition - $200
Designed for adults who wish to expand their education in musical
theatre dance, whether for personal craft or just for fun.
Students will be guided through jazz and tap styles focusing on proper
alignment, flexibility, muscle control and correct execution of
Wednesdays (10 am - 12:30 pm) September 11th – November
and Doug Yetter, Instructors
Tuition - $250
For students 50 and older, we offer the joy of performing without the
added pressure of memorization or complex staging. Learn the
score to this popular musical, including “All That Jazz,” “Mister
Cellophane,” “Cell Block Tango,” and more! The semester concludes in a
final public performance on November 20th.
Sundays (6:30 - 8 pm.) September 15th – November 17th

Join other experienced actors for one-hour sessions to improve existing
skills through exercises led by Acting Company members and other
professionals including technique, Shakespearean interpretation,
monologue/scenes, improvisation principles and more! Drop-in fee
for non-Acting Group members: $5 per session. Call for specific
schedule. Please note: Previous acting training and experience

are required to wear clothing that is light-weight and in which they
can move easily. Jeans and tight tops are discouraged.
- Students must wear a jazz oxford, which may be
purchased for $19.99 at www.dancedistributors.com. Click on
SHOES, then JAZZ and on page 2 you will find the SPLIT SOLE JAZZ SHOE
made by Dance Distributors.
- Long hair must be secured away from the face in a
pony tail or braid. No hats are permitted.
- No cell phones, pagers or alarms allowed in class.
- Inclement Weather Policy: In case of inclement
weather, please call 302.227.2270 for updates.
- Holidays and Closings: The semester calendar allows
for holidays and conflicting events at Clear Space. Please refer to
your registration acceptance letter for class meeting dates.
- Scholarships: Scholarships and senior discounts
are offered to students in need (please see Scholarship Application
link at right).
- Refund schedule:
Before First Class: 75% (Unless Class is at Capacity); After First
Class-50%; After Second Class-No Refunds
- All course content is aligned with the National
Standards of Arts in Education and the Delaware State Arts Curriculum.
