Katherine Davison

Katherine Davison (Kathy) is a native Baltimorean who has been coming to the Delaware beaches since 1976.   And after living as a part timer at the beach since 1982, Kathy and her wife moved to Lewes, Delaware full time in 2005.

Kathy has 40 years experience in the fields of media sales, marketing, events marketing, and public relations. She has held positions in Baltimore, Maryland as an Assistant Director of Public Relations for Franklin Square Hospital, Director of Marketing for a large multi-family housing corporation, an account representative for several radio and television stations including 98 Rock, WBAL-AM, V-103,and WMAR-TV.  Kathy was Director of Communications for the Maryland Transportation Department’s Motorcycle Safety Program, and spent seven years as a New Business Development Specialist for the Baltimore Sunpapers. For the past twelve years, Kathy has been an Account Representative for Comcast Spotlight, the advertising division of COMCAST, covering the entire Salisbury DMA.

Kathy has won numerous awards for sales achievements in media sales from several Baltimore radio stations, and the Outstanding Citizen Award by United Cerebral Palsy of Maryland. She is a two time recipient of The Baltimore Sun Publishers Award, and has earned several awards from Comcast Spotlight for Outstanding Sales achievements, and two awards of Excellence from the Public Relations Society of Maryland.

Since moving to Lewes, Kathy has served as Director, Vice-President, then President of my Homeowners Association, spent three years as a member of the Safe Haven Animal Sanctuary Citizens Advisory Board, held the positions of Director, Vice-President, President, and now Past-President of the Lewes Chamber of Commerce, and spent three years as Senior Advisor of the CAMP Citizens Advisory Board.  Other community service includes the transition committee for the Milton Theatre, three years as the Director of Communications for Coastal Concerts, two years was a Director on the Board for Clear Space Theatre and now a member of the Producers Circle, and five years on the Welcoming Committee for the Rehoboth Beach Chamber of Commerce.
